Work Your Back Muscles with Prone Cobra

A popular yoga pose, prone cobra is a great way to work all of the muscles along the spine, while also lengthening and stretching the abdominals. Start by lying down on your stomach. Spread your arms out to the sides with the palms facing down. Then start using all of your back muscles to lift your legs off the floor as high as you can. At the same time, start raising your chest and arms off the ground until you are balancing on your stomach and pelvic area. Keep the neck neutral and hold for as long as you can.

Work Your Arms with Classic Push-Ups

Do classic crunches to work the upper abs, then incorporate lifting your legs with your knees bent until they’re at a 90° angle with your hips in order to engage the lower abs. To target the obliques, lift into a crunch but turn to one side and then the other, attempting to bring each elbow to the opposite knee.
