• Apples – these fruits contain a substance called pectin, which naturally reacts in the body to slow down digestion. This means that this highly nutritious and high fiber fruit will also be digested more slowly so if you eat it, you will feel fuller, longer. Studies have indicated that people who regularly eat apples eat fewer daily calories, on average.

• Figs – if you have a sweet tooth, a fresh fig will help you to satisfy it, while taking in a large amount of fiber and some healthy nutrients at the same time.
